Harmony House Album Cover

Brand Design

The Projects aim was to recreate the album “Harmony House” by Dayglow. The projects message centres around the self-realisations you learn when you get out into the world as a young person and experience life. Dayglow wanted “the album to feel like a modern, independent take on a hit 80’s album” and wanted “the album to feel like it was literally found in your dad’s dusty record collection in the attic”. The album was inspired by nostalgia or what dayglow calls false nostalgia, this when people of a younger generation watch old shows or music and feel nostalgic for a time never experienced. The concept for the front cover rooted in the idea that he wanted his music to feel like the soundtrack to a sitcom that doesn’t exist yet.
